Touched my heart
The choice that had to be made by Travis was the most heart wrenching decision anyone could be faced with. It touched me deeply. Many many thoughts crossed my mind after I finished.

Not the best storyline.
The story teller was good. The music was unnecessary and quite bothersome. If you thought about what you were hearing, you could have written the book yourself. It was very simplistic. If you want true drama or love stories, this is not an book for you.

Classic Sparks
Would you listen to The Choice again? Why?
No. The angst in Nicholas Sparks' stories is just too painful to be borne more than once. Does nobody in his imaginary world ever have any opportunity for happiness?
That said, the writing skill is flawless and the performance outstanding.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Not very credible, but I'm happier with it than I would have been otherwise.
Any additional comments?
I think I'm done with Nick. I'm suffering too much with his characters. The quality of my life will improve greatly when I no longer remember the plots to his stories.

Predictable and a little bit too cheesy
There wasn’t much meat to the story and it progressed very fast. I was also not a fan of the music in the background at “emotional” points... it made it even more cheesy. There are better Nicholas sparks books out there.
