VERY useful before traveling!
This is a very handy phrase book that I used while on the plane to Spain. I travelled there for two months and would have been totally lost without this audiobook. Essentially, it is a collection of useful phrases in english and spanish. The phrases are grouped in a way that is very conducive to learning. I had taken maybe 3 years of spanish in high school, but forgot much of it. This audiobook served as an excellent reminder and I definitely learned some new phrases. This book was especially helpful for me because it only showcases phrases that are useful for the type of communications people actually use. I would highly recommend this audiobook!

Very helpful!
If you could sum up Spanish Phrase Book for Travelers in three words, what would they be?
Three words : Informative, Easy to Follow, and Engaging.
The audio book was very helpful. Learned a lot of words and phrases in just a day. Our language is close to Spanish hence me, learning it easier with the help of this audio book.
Any additional comments?
Looking forward to apply what I've learned when I go to Spain or any Spanish-speaking countries. Hopefully soon!

Perfect For Aspiring Travelers
Spanish Phrase Book for Travelers is exactly what it promises to be.
It provides commonly used phrases for people looking to learn more about a language before they travel to a foreign place so that they can better interact with the people they meet there. The repetition is perfect for letting the phrase sink in and allowing me time to process what it means, and how to better say it.
I would recommend this audio book to any friend or colleague that is looking for a way to learn more Spanish phrases.

Very useful phrase book
I highly recommend that anyone planning on visiting Spanish-speaking countries take the time to listen to this book. This audiobook provides a wide array of useful Spanish phrases that all travelers visiting Spanish-speaking latino countries should know. The book begins with some basic familiar phrases like greetings, questions like “Where is the train station?”, and other valuable simple phrases to help an English-speaking traveler properly navigate themselves around unfamiliar areas. Having taken basic lessons in Spanish prior to this, I had no difficulty with the first few couple of chapters worth of phrases. As you advance through the chapters, the you come across more advanced phrases to prepare you for full conversations. Later on in the book, the phrases from earlier reappear in Spanish, without any English translations, for you to practice. I personally enjoyed this part because it gave me a chance to test my knowledge of the Spanish language. Overall, this audiobook was enjoyable and quite useful.

Really good to listen to if you're a beginner!
Everything about this book was clear and concise, and it gives you the proper amount of time to retain the words. I really loved how slowly they took it and the repetition really helps a lot. I took Spanish all throughout high school, but I was never very good at it and slowly lost interest. The classes were just too difficult. With this book, I was able to remember a lot of what I learned and also learn a lot of new words and phrases.

Good for beginners and those that are rusty
I don't usually pick up audiobooks, but I am planning a trip to Mexico for my family and knew I wasn't going to get by on what I remembered from high school.
Not sure if it matters, but I used the Audible app for Android to listem to the book. The book covers a lot of information. Luckily it is broken into chapters. It's nice that the audio tells you what each chapter will cover before it starts into the words/phrases.
The audio quality was great overall. There was no ambient noise whatsoever. Both the Spanish words/phrases and their English are well enunciated and clearly delineated.
The chapters start of with the basic stuff you might need to be able to say when traveling to Mexico or other Spanish speaking locales, like "How much is this?" - ¿Cuánto cuesta este? or "Where is the bathroom?" - ¿Dondé está el baño? to more specific topics like medical or safety related things. Most chapters are around 5 minutes long or less, and and the phrases are always repeated twice, which makes it quick and easy to repeat sections you want to make sure stick.
Overall, this was really informative and helpful. Having the book in audio format helped not only refresh or learn new phrases, but also helped with the pronunciation of said phrases. I've already listened to it a few times, and plan on doing so again, this time with the whole family. Thanks for recording this!

A must-listen for Spanish phrase review
This is a great audiobook for intermediate Spanish speakers wanting to brush up on their conversational language skills.
It includes 96 short chapters, usually around 5 minutes each, for easy short listening sessions. The chapters cover everyday conversational situations like introductions, asking directions, ordering in restaurants, and many other social situations.
The Spanish Phrasebook for Travelers is not a book for beginners. The speaker spoke too fast many times, I had to listen intently to catch the words and phrases. However, the audiobook can be played back at 3/4 speed to slow it down. I was also able to rewind the book in 30-second increments to re-listen to a phrase when I needed to.
Ther are no chapter titles in the audiobook, so it is difficult to find the proper chapter to review a particular situation.
If you already know some Spanish and want to brush up on your conversational skills, this is the book you need!

Excellent for learning or brushing up on Spanish
I had taken Spanish for 5 years and while I know some phrases have stuck, not enough has to be helpful. I picked this book to help me brush up on my Spanish skills and it was a great purchase!! It definitely helped me remember what I had learned in the past and I even learned something a few new things! The repetition was very helpful with allowing me learn new and old Spanish phrases. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who either wants to learn Spanish or is looking to brush up on it!

Great intro to Spanish
"I would recommend this audiobook for anyone looking to brush up on their Spanish or those who are looking to explore another language. The format is easy to understand and the repetitions help enforce each Spanish phrase. I like how the chapters are broken into categories related to everyday scenarios such as greetings, traveling to the airport, etc. My children especially liked hearing the audiobook and repeating the words as we drove to school. Hearing the narrator pronounce the words really helps when practicing the words. I've been looking for a good tool to use for learning Spanish and this is a great option."
