Story
In this book, I explain how to make soap and give you a few simple recipes too. But I hope that is not why you bought this book. My goal is to explain how to create great natural and organic soaps and not just make soaps. There is a difference. You will get to see that difference when you understand each of the ingredients and how they interact and react with each other. You will not have a great business if you are just making carbon copies of a few soaps of other people which your customers can go buy from any local stores.

First of all, it is a creative product, with a piece of your heart and soul. Soap crafting is an occupation for your soul and it brings joy and pleasure for those people who are engaged in this process. And although we've become used to popping pills, Americans have finally had it with the dangerous side effects, addiction, and over-prescribing - and they're desperate for an alternative. We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

This book is very detailed
This book is very detailed and teaches about soap making what supplies you will need, the different oils, blending oils, soap molds, basically, all you need to know to make your own soap at home. I learned a lot from this book as it showed me a scent wheel to make a better decision on what soap to make.

Great book different perspective
This book gives a great generalized overview of the business aspects as well as what supplies are needed and generally how to make candles. I had no idea how much actually went into making each kind of candle and i have a healthier respect for what to expect as i get started.

Excellent!
I bought this for my husband who is a hobby beekeeper.
He had several books that had a recipe here and there for beeswax, but this book is exceptional! It was just what I was hoping we could do with the honey and wax he gets from his hives.

Brilliant
This book contains some great mixes for smoothies and I have followed a few, but I like to make my own mixes.
As a book for someone who is starting out on making their own drinks this book would be brilliant.
