Story
From a childhood as an abandoned orphan to life as one of the city’s most skilled burglars, master thief Rafiq has long lived high off the wealth of Avanasia—its trade, its jewels, and its women. The vaults of Avanasia's merchants are as open to him as the legs of its most beautiful courtesans. For in Avanasia, there is but one paramount truth: There are those who have, and those who take. And Rafiq is one of the latter. But when he steals an ancient heirloom blade from a powerful merchant, he sets in motion a series of events that will shift the balance of power in the city.

As a villain for hire, I followed those rules, facing down heroes in scripted fights to make them look good for the press and brand deals. Sure, losing every time was a pain, but the money was good. Well, decent. And it kept real heroes off my back. Well, usually.

Story
Captain James Decker has lived a life of hunting, killing, and earning credits. To some, it hasn’t amounted to much, but to him, it’s led to him captaining the SC Fortune, a space cruiser with a competent crew that he’s grown fond of. After accepting a bounty hunting mission with a beautiful blonde woman as the mark, Decker finds himself soon without a ship and a crew. But as luck would have it, this same mission gives him back what he lost: a new ship and a new crew.

Steve had experience when it came to waking up with hangovers. Being attacked by kobolds? Not so much. After rousing in the middle of a monster-filled forest, he was sure his life was over. That was until he was saved by a fire-wielding angel who was anything but human. Now Steve finds himself a temporary guest on a small run-down farm filled with monster girls who need his help. None more so than the canine beauty responsible for saving his skin.

Story
When fate brought me to the fantasy world of Aurilon, I thought I'd seen everything. If I only knew how wrong I was. Now, I’ve discovered monsters are real, they’re stunningly beautiful, and they need my help. In this world, men’s cores are cursed, preventing them from cultivating and achieving incredible power. Fortunately, I’m not from this world. With several amazing monster girls at my side, I'll forge a new destiny and ascend to heights I’d only ever dreamed of. But first, I must create a safe haven in the wilds to protect those who have been hunted for far too long.

There I was, driving a busload of hot cheerleaders back to their college after the big football game when the damned ground opened up and swallowed us whole. I awoke in the wilderness on an alien planet, with a disembodied voice prattling on about a quest to save the cheerleaders. Hell yeah, I plan to save the cheerleaders! Goblins, orcs, and football zombies–yeah I said football zombies–inhabit the woods and are intent on our destruction.

Story
An inn is a place to rest, a place to talk and share stories, a place to find adventure, or a starting ground for quests and legends. It is in this world, at least. To Erin Solstice, an inn seems like a medieval relic from the past. But here she is, running from Goblins and trying to survive in a world full of monsters and magic. She’d be more excited about all of this if everything wasn’t trying to kill her. But an inn is what she’s found, and so that’s what she becomes; an innkeeper, who serves drinks to heroes and monsters. Mostly monsters. But it’s a living, right?

Warner spent his days like almost anyone else. He got up, went to work, answered phone calls in a call center, went home, spent time with his daughter, and went to sleep. Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over. Life was as mundane as anyone could ever fear it to be. Today was the day that all that would change. On this day, his daughter Maya would be nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic he’d never known existed. The only consolation is that he discovers he’s not quite human, either.

Story
Have you ever felt like there was something inside of you pushing your actions? A dormant beast, so to speak. I know it sounds crazy. But, that’s the best way I could describe how I’ve felt for a long time. I thought it was normal, some animal part of the human brain that lingered from evolution. But, this is the story of how I learned I wasn’t exactly human, and there was a world underneath our own where all the things that go bump in the night live. And, that my beast was very real indeed.

Publisher's summary
I was scraping by in LA: dinner was regularly Taco Bell salsa packets, my love life consisted of freeze-framing Scarlett Johansson action scenes, and my only hobby was drawing until my fingers bled. All that changed when I got my big break, an interview with Magnum Comics, the largest entertainment company in the world! But what I found there was a lot more than a job... I found the power to bring anything I draw into reality!
If you enjoy fantasy comedies like The Mask with Jim Carrey, if you enjoy genre-bending action like Ready Player One, you'll get a kick out of this adult fantasy adventure romp!

At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

It was alright.
Sorry if this is a bland review, but I've been reading a lot of these lit rpg books lately, and to be true I've read ones with a lot better characters/story. Now that isn't to sayi didn't enjoy this, but the main character has many flaws. he doesn't really take time to address these either.

Bringing your FanFic to life
Great concept loved the book, however the characters I feel could have been fleshed out more.
The way the MC jumped between nerdy love lust to arrogant douche multiple times was a little off putting

good narration of what became an annoying story
while the story concept was good, it wavered and fell. to the point I actually started skipping ahead :( I loved the voice work, but it couldnt overcome the horrible character of the MC. I had high hope's for Eddie, but his character flaws kind of ruined it for me.

right so the thing is its terrible
Look I like to say that I give every book I listen to a chance that I get behind something and I at least finish it out even if I don't necessarily like it but wow it's hard to tolerate to the main character who is so far up his own ass With his own self delusional "nice guy" schtick. I mean the word incel flashed in my mind repeatedly. yes being an artist and chasing your dreams can be frustrating and disappointing but dear god this boy acts like he is owed something. a self entitled jackass. his not even a chad so I can laugh at his chadness the worst and a coward.

Basically a nerdy wetdream
This book has an interesting concept, the main character is a "starving artist", he gets a sketchbook that makes his creations real. He does what you would imagine any horny young guy would do with it. It also has some interesting plot points.

good book
I really enjoyed Andrea's different voices for the female characters and how they all sound different enough to tell the women of the story apart.

I'm sorry I just couldn't
While the VA wasn't putting on their best performance the writing was something else. I usually try to give a book a chance for a few chapters if I don't like it right away, but I couldn't get through the first chapter. Which really sucks because I liked the idea of an artist making things come to life.

?? Ending really messed up...
This isn't a great book. The MC is a shaggy lookalike character with no common sense or planning. The sexual conquest he makes are great to hear but the ones he should care about making falls apart too suddenly. I'll read the next book to conclude what I think should have already been in this book.

Mixed feelings but overall good.
I thought the story overall was good and entertaining. I however didn't care for the characters actions at points. It seemed like he wasn't learning from his mistakes. He seemed to make a mistake, appear to learn from it, them do a similar thing right after.
