Still good

More of the same which is not a bad thing. If you liked the rest of the series you should have no issues with this one.

One of the best ones yet.

All of these books in this series has been great so far. I really love the story and the narrators did an excellent job.

Really don’t like Stella

The story started of interesting but now it just feels like it’s being continued by a horny teenager. The MC’s character development has gone from progressively trying to grow as a person to yeah just accept whatever shenanigans Stella wants and let me keep on adding to my already long list of horny girlfriends. And the main problem is Stella who’s only personality is horny and if there’s something important going on in the background forget that, I’m horny. Only continuing this series because I’m already this far but seriously thinking about just dropping this series if the next book is more of the same.

Fun story

This is still a good series. I think the last book was a bit beater than this one but still enjoyable. Narration is top notch!

Great story, poor narration

I feel like there are many narrators that do a much better job than Alex Parone/Lewis Alexander. I feel like dungeons, SSV, and Dao audios all suffered a loss at this choice. Jack Douglas, Evan Jordan, Christopher Boucher, and Jonathan Waters would have all worked to make it perfect. Lewis Alexander is OK, but is terrible at the flirting parts and can't sell a young mc very well. All of the passionate parts lose interest. Please consider at least diversifying the narrators for new serieses

missed opportunity by narrators= -2 stars.

while a narration team like this one normally gets 4-5 stars this team reminds me of the Simsons episode where homers stupidity gets them stranded in Japan so Bart has to work in a fish processing plant look up (knife goes in guts come out) scene, this book has chapters that are from the perspective of Stela witch should of been narrated by Rozelyn Rader instead of Lewis Alexander -2 stars, it would of been way better to get those chapters narrated in Stela's voice instead.

Keeps getting better

The author does a really god job of fleshing out the female characters. They aren’t just there for sexy time. They are integral to the story. Looking forward to the next installment.

Disemboweled then maimed- what fun!

I have to admit that I liked the challenges presented in the first books of Miles balancing the dual life of an OP anti-hero with a hero manager job in the BSH to his new role of punching bag for OP villains. I would prefer he show foresight and preparation with all the resources and genius people he has around him if he wants to break away from a dependency on a physical form. One other gripe is that Stella is getting to be more and more a caricature of herself, and presented as a simpleton! She was a college student before the transformation to a succubus-form super and was saved by Miles from self-destruction. She not only has super strength and durability, but true soul sucking powers if she chooses to use them! Why is she not a sultry, dangerous character, reigned in only by her love and gratitude for Miles?
Those negatives aside, there is still good action, character interaction and (pseudo)scientific development. I really like the track Miles and Obsidian are on and I hope there is a lot in store for them. (Obsidian is Rozelyn's best voice characterization in my opinion, very nice).
Lots to like, worth the credit, and I'm still into the series
