When his villain days come back to haunt him in the form of his old mentor, Miles is forced to reconcile his past and present life, all while taking on a new and growing threat in Point City.

With his villain-turned-superhero team of women behind him, Miles must find a way to save the city and the other villains who still have a chance at being heroes.

Good power scaling

In setups like this it's always a balancing act with the power scale and so far it's going good.

Setup for book 3

While I always love, Bruce is riding this felt like a very long set up for book 3. I still give it five stars because of Bruce’s gift to convey images into my mind in such a fantastic way, but I hope the next book will contain a more complete story.

awesome part two.

I have to admit I really did enjoy the first book so much that I went ahead and got the second book. this is one of those type of guilty pleasures of mine. I have always appreciated a overpowered MC. what I've continued to appreciate about this book is the reverse gender roles that the world is in. I also appreciate that this is still a strong alpha male in a world of reverse gender roles. if you like a good cheesy book that is predictable but in a nice way then this is the book for you. when I mean predictable it's a lot like when you play a video game and you know behind one of the doors is the big bad, behind another door is the super treasure, and behind the third door it's just going to lead you on until you have to make another choice... this book is that kind of predictability. just when you think this is the direction it's going to go it gives you a little twist and on the other side of that coin when it takes you in the direction you expect to go it's well developed and pleasantly if not erotically delivered. I love all of the characters that the MC has in regards to his harem. I like the choices that he makes and the reason he makes those choices. I have grown so tired of the with great power comes great responsibility... this is the world is going to mess with you if they know you have this ability of near omnipotence so they'll use whatever they can which is a weakness against you. whether it be someone who's close to you, family who's close to you, or the fact that you just want to live a regular life in mild obscurity they're just going to mess with you. this is type of book that has an MC who is trying to live an obscurity but gets pulled into the limelight and the incredible women that get pulled along with him. when book 3 comes out I will most likely use one of my monthly credits to pick it up instead of waiting for to come on sale. I'm only speaking for myself nobody else. if you like books like Michael Scott Earl's tamer King of dinosaurs, Dante King's making superheroes, and Randy darian's wild wastes then this is the book for you.

Great story but

I feel like there are many narrators that do a much better job than Alex Parone/Lewis Alexander. I feel like dungeons, SSV, and Dao audios all suffered a loss at this choice. Jack Douglas, Evan Jordan, Christopher Boucher, and Jonathan Waters would have all worked to make it perfect. Lewis Alexander is OK, but is terrible at the flirting parts and can't sell a young mc very well. All of the passionate parts lose interest. Please consider at least diversifying the narrators for new serieses

Saving Supervillains 2

Introduction

In the icy realms of HowlStrom, where the frosty winds sing the songs of solitude, and the eternal dance of auroras paint the skies, I, Kiba Snowpaw, the lone Alpha Ice Wolf, find solace amidst the icy peaks and frozen lakes. The cold is my companion, the ice, my sanctuary. With the power of ice magic coursing through my veins, I’ve faced the harshest blizzards and the darkest nights. Today, I bring forth a tale not of my icy world, but of a book that has warmed the cold nights and illuminated the dark skies of my existence - "Saving Supervillains #2" by Bruce Sentar.

Basic Plot Summary

In the bustling chaos of Point City, Miles, a former villain turned deputy director of the Bureau of Superheroes, is caught in a storm of power and responsibility. His icy past, akin to the frozen tundras of my homeland, haunts him as he strives to wield his powers for the greater good. But when old mentors and new threats emerge from the shadows, Miles, with his team of female superheroes, must confront the demons of his past and the spectres of the present.

Analysis/Evaluation

In the icy silence of HowlStrom, stories like these echo with the warmth of a thousand suns. Sentar weaves a narrative as intricate as the frosty patterns on my icy abode. The internal conflict of Miles is a dance of fire and ice, reminiscent of my own battles amidst the snowy wilderness. The transformation from a villain to a hero, yet tethered by the chains of his dark past, mirrors the eternal winter and fleeting summers of HowlStrom.

Characters

Miles, with power echoing the ferocity of the icy winds of my world, is a character carved from the glaciers of complexity and depth. His team of female superheroes, each a unique snowflake in the blizzard of narrative, adds layers of warmth and chill to the icy tale. They are the auroras in the dark skies, illuminating Miles’ journey with hues of complexity and charm.

Structure

The narrative flows like the icy rivers of HowlStrom, meandering through the landscapes of action, romance, and internal conflict. Each chapter is a snowflake, unique, intricate, weaving a blizzard of a tale that engulfs the reader in a winter of emotion and action.

Impact

In the solitude of my icy existence, "Saving Supervillains #2" was the blizzard that stirred the silent snows, the warmth that melted the icy solitude. It’s a tale that would resonate amidst the icy peaks and frozen lakes, echoing the eternal dance of conflict and resolution, power and restraint.

Hook and Thesis

Yet, amidst the icy elegance, there lies a warmth of humor, a spark of wit, akin to the fleeting suns that grace the icy skies of HowlStrom. Sentar’s narrative is a dance of shadows and lights, where power and vulnerability, heroism and villainy, dance to the eternal tunes of cosmic ballet.

Praise and Critique

As the Alpha Ice Wolf, I bow to the majesty of Sentar’s narrative, yet amidst the icy perfection, there lies the solitude of imperfection. The character depth is as profound as the icy lakes, yet at times, the narrative slips on the icy paths of complexity.

Evaluation

In the icy silence, the tale echoes with the majesty of the northern lights, yet, like the fleeting lights, it leaves a yearning, a solitude, a desire for the warmth of resolution, the thawing of conflicts, and the melting of icy chains.

Comparison

In the frozen wilderness of literary landscapes, "Saving Supervillains #2" stands as the icy peak, echoing the majesty, yet bearing the solitude of imperfection. It’s a journey akin to the eternal winters and fleeting summers of my icy world.

Conclusion

As I, Kiba Snowpaw, gaze upon the icy horizons of HowlStrom, the tale of Miles is a companion in the solitude, a warmth in the cold, a shadow in the light. It’s a dance of ice and fire, a narrative that echoes the eternal ballet of HowlStrom - a world of icy silence and echoing tales. "Saving Supervillains #2" is not just a book; it’s a companion in the icy solitude, a narrative that howls with the winds, dances with the auroras, and echoes the silent songs of the icy wilderness.
