Publisher's summary

Now an Amazon top 100 best seller!

Hunter, Ash, Ledger, and Samson.

The Kings of Ravenwood Academy.

Their names still send shivers down my spine, for more than one reason.

Back then, they didn’t expect me to fight back.

But I did.

And now I’m theirs.

After making a pact with them, they help me get revenge on the one man who wronged me.

I’m not the same meek, little girl that got taken advantage of.

Now, I have four ruthless guys willing to risk everything for me.

The only problem is, I promised them everything I had in return for their help.

So while I may be the new Queen of Ravenwood, the Kings still own me, body and soul.

And I’m not quite sure I’m ready to hand over my crown.

Ruthless Queen is a full-length high school bully reverse harem romance. It is book two of the Ruthless Royals duet. It is advised to listen to them in order.

Please note Ruthless Queen contains explicit language, bullying, violence, and flashbacks of abuse/trauma. It also features four hot guys who would do anything to protect their feisty queen. The story concludes with this book and does have a happily ever after.

Okay

It definitely wasn't the best book I've listened to. The books were too short for 2 books. The ending was weird. Epilogue was 9 years later and they were together but didn't live together. Stupid

Who doesn't love a RH!

I reserve my comments for the last book of a continued story, so this comment is for the entire duet. If you have rape triggers this duet is likely not for you!

I am learning quickly that I am so jealous of all the women in the RH books I have listened to lately. To have multiple men to satisfy every aspect of your heart, body and soul would be incredible. This duet was well written and had a great storyline. The narrators did an amazing job as well.

Had potential but audio fell flat for me in spots

So some things got better in book 2 while others didnt, but I still overall am giving it a 3-3.5 stars. I did enjoy the major plot in this one and was happy to see some people got their karmic justice. I was happy to also see Briar get the ending she wanted with her abuser and then with her guys. I did love the epilogue in terms of where the guys and Briar ended up, their jobs, but I was shocked they all had separate houses (and my answer to the more than just friends or MM was answered with that, also was sad for me/was confused with how things went in the book).

I still think the side plots were all over the place haha. Like the stuff about King and Queen at school, like who cares if the student body like the Kings and votes for Brian and Samson haha. It just felt like it was thrown in there because the author didnt have anything else to add, which was unfortunate. Like I get making people understand they are misunderstood but they didnt explain what happened with the friend who sick and was no longer there for example. Also, I was pissed about her “friends” outside the Kings and wouldn’t have let them back in after how they treated her. The steam was yummy and liked the glimpses of some Dom moments from some of the guys, and I didnt feel like the steam was overdone in this one. And again, I loved Briar’s mom and Hunter’s dad. They made this story better with how they supported them and were there for them (ho0w he yelled at Hunter in book 1 and had her back from the beginning). I also loved the addition at the end haha.

The narration again was good with the male narrator but in this one in particular I didnt like the performance by the female narrator like a third of the time. I speed up the audio to like 1.5-1.6X speed and she for some reason groaned weirdly, was OTT and whiney at the same time in scenes. I don’t know, she is definitely not on my automatic listen list, but I will give her another chance and see if she doesnt get better. He on the other hand was great and I could feel all the different emotions from the guys when he was talking.

Overall I am still going to check out more from this author but this was not my favorite RH story I have read (not the worst either haha) and the audio half the time didnt elevate the story like it should/I would hope it would.
