Meh.

It was ok for an Audible Escapes title but I’m glad I didn’t spend a credit on it. A bit boring and repetitive at times—her constant anxiety about student loan payments certainly didn’t help my anxiety about mine—and just ridiculously unbelievable at times. Also, I almost stopped listening because of the male narrator. His wasn’t the most natural of deliveries and a smoker’s rasp is never sexy. Also, I completely agree with another reviewer: More sex, please! Fantastic writers with really unique stories (like Diana Gabaldon or Camilla Monk) can get away with less sex/really slow build to sex, but most books in this genre need some spice in order to hold the reader’s interest.

This was a cutesy contemporary romance book. Perfect for playing while cleaning or running errands.

Amazing!

This is one of the best books I’ve read in awhile. It’s funny and the romance is great but not so much that you’re sick of it. Don’t pass this series up!

good story. wrong voice

the male voice was not fitting. sounds more like someone in their 50-60's. he would be best for other types of books.

R.S. Grey needs to follow an outline

This is probably the third R.S. Grey book I have listened to and I can’t help but feel frustrated every time. No loose ends are ever wrapped up, and there are always inconsistent details within the book that distract from any humor or sweetness of the story. If you aren’t a detail oriented person, it probably won’t bother you. Otherwise it was kind of a cute story.

Not one of my absolute favorite books by Grey, but it was all right. The signature wittiness and hilarity was there, except the story didn’t engage me like the other books have.

There wasn’t much of a relationship build-up since the attraction between the two main characters were immediate. The flirting was pretty cute and enjoyable, though. The intimate scenes were all right, not super heated like in other books.

The narrators were good. Accents were hilarious and wonderful. In the beginning, they sounded very robotic, but it got better.

One thing I like is how the male narrator actually got more “screen time!” Usually they don’t get as much, which is a major bummer, but this story gives that opportunity.

Dreams become reality

Girl leaves small town in Texas searching for dream in New York City. Along with an excellent wardrobe she brings a huge blog following. Fun story with great characters.

Loved the Storyline

What a lovely story I really enjoyed it. Loved the characters or people in book. Now I can't wait to read or listen to the next book.

Charming

This was a well written book.with charming characters; loving friendship and what a healthy and funny should be. I loved it. She's a new author for me but i will definitely look for more.☺
