Frustratingly good.
This is my second book by Ms. Landish. I enjoyed the first and rolled right into this. I had to stop a few times, just plain frustrated with the main characters. However, I always came back. The author has a way of hooking you so that you just have to finish it. While I’m not sure I enjoyed the “manipulation” 🤣 the story is solid.

My favorite Lauren Landish yet!
Jayme is called in to fix Carson's reputation. After a video goes viral, the reputation of his family's amusement park, he needs he best. Doing what she can to combat the bad press, Jayme finds Carson's infuriating personality frustrating. But as things begin to fall into place, these two find that business is not the only thing getting better. This is a fun, sweet and spicy, forbidden romance that is easy on the ears, had me laughing and falling in love. Jayme is a spitfire, feisty and knows her business. That is extremely attractive to Carson! Carson is misunderstood, trying to do his best and make his father proud. This pulls Jayme into his arms and together these two are unbeatable. Social media makes this story current and the listen easy and enjoyable!
Lee Samuels brings bad boy, Carson alive. He creates the perfect personality for him, a vulnerable son, a businessman and sensual boyfriend. Melissa Moran gives a flawless performance as Jayme. Feisty, confident and smart, Jayme's character is realistic, warm and easy to love. These two are amazing together and it's a listen you shouldn't miss.
