loved it

I loved this story. The narrator Allen Jeffries really brings this story to life and did an amazing job with the characters. Making you fall in love with them. After Kace's dad passes he goes on the trip of a lifetime. He promises his dad he would take the motorcycle trip from Sacramento to Sturgis. The one he and his dad always wanted to go on. His bike starts acting up and he has to stop in Reno where maybe he can figure it out what's wrong. That's where he meets Striker and motorcycle mechanic . Striker is able to fix Kace's bike. They really hit it off and he asks Striker to join him. They head off on a incredible adventure. When Stricker's uncle is involved in an accident in Reno. Will Kace race to be by his lovers side and support Striker when he needs it the most?

What a Journey

The characters went on one heck of a journey. The cross country ride had the characters see many landmarks. The descriptions of these made me want to take an epic ride too!! I totally enjoyed the storyline and the small amounts of angst in the listen!

Excellent story

Kace recently lost his father. He decides to ride to Sturgis dropping parts of his dads ash’s along the way. First stop in Vegas, he meets Striker. The two men strike up a friendship and Striker goes with him on his ride. This was excellent, I felt I was there with them. Allen Jeffries does a great job with the narration.

Beautiful story

Kace and Striker meet when his Motorcycle breaks down on a road trip he is taking for his father.

This story and guys are sweet and caring. They go on this adventure to heal and say goodbye all while falling in love

Excellent Romantic MM book!

Ride: The Chance of a Lifetime by B.L. Maxwell is a romantic love story. The very talented Alan Jefferies narrated this loving story with great emotion. He’s a man of many voices, and I enjoyed listening to all his character voices. BL must be commended for her abundant knowledge of geography and motorcycles, enhancing the journey of the story. It was well written, taking me on a journey, away from my everyday life. I actually felt like I was on the trip with Kace and Striker.

The story begins with Kace leaving home to take his father’s ashes and all his memories of him on a trip to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, California. They had planned to go together, but they never did. In retrospect, he felt miserable he had never taken time off work before to go on this trip to Sturgis with his father. Just when things couldn’t get any worse for Kace, his motorcycle breaks down on the way. This was where Kace meets Striker.

The two were inseparable, like two peas in a pod. They had so much fun together on their way to Sturgis. They were written like they were real people. Some very hot romantic scenes while taking a shower and at times, they discussed what they wanted to eat. They always agreed and each time, their attraction grew stronger. I really thought they were perfect for each other.

Later on, when something happened, Kace was able to comfort Striker. They shared sad experiences, resulting the deepening of their love for each other. If you love a romantic love story, I recommend you listen to this story.

Ride

This was a great ride of a story. I got sucked in from the moment I hit play and it just got better from there. There was so much sweetness and care in the story. The guys interact with each other so well. I never wanted their journey to end. I loved them meeting on the side of the road because of a bike breaking down. I really hope to see more of these characters. The narrator did a good job and made the guy come to life.

This was one of my first books by BL Maxwell and listening to it in audio again has been such a beautiful and transcendent experience.

Allen Jeffries has done a commendable job on the audio delivery and the narration is absolutely brilliant.

I adored Kace and Striker's story. And I absolutely enjoyed embarking on the journey of their life with them.

Good story, not digging the narration

I’d actually give it a 3.5, mostly because I couldn’t get into the voices the narrator had created for Striker and Kace. Neither seemed to fit what I had envisioned for either character. Other than that, I loved the story. A well-executed romance with enough drama to not take over the story arc while still providing the happy feels of a relationship worth holding on to.

Thr book is amazing the narration not so good

The book is so much fun but the narration felt so off. I felt like he thought all gay men sounded like Kace. I couldn't listen to it just read the book.

Ride of a Lifetime for Kace and Striker

Ride: The Chance of a Lifetime was one of my earliest books by BL Maxwell and it was an amazing road trip of adventure and love! It was also the first time that I heard about the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally so I was very intrigued. Allen Jeffries does another wonderful job of narrating Kace and Striker's voices as they both embark on the ride of a lifetime.

Kace Hallard sets out from Sacramento after his father passes away to travel to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. They couldn't make the trip before his father passed away so Kace sets out on this journey alone to honor his father. He meets Striker on the first leg of his trip when his motorcycle has mechanical problems. They spend some time together while Striker helps him and Kace invites him to join him on his journey.

This was a wonderful narration by an amazing narrator and brought to life one of my favorite BL Maxwell books. Striker and Kace aren't looking for love when they set out but somehow, this ride brings them closer to the other. I love road trips so this was a nice visual trip for me from Sacramento all the way to Sturgis, SD. Another brilliant and amazing audiobook by Allen Jeffries and I hope BL Maxwell continues to use him for her audiobooks :) He is fabulous!
