Publisher's summary

A night to remember, a confession, and a lifetime of love in this small-town, friends-to-lovers Christmas romance.

Andrew Lawson’s life in Sacramento has turned from being everything he dreamed of growing up to a lonely place where finding someone special to share his life with is impossible. When the first person he meets on returning home for Thanksgiving is his childhood friend Link, it’s a reminder of happier times when his whole future lay in front of him. Agreeing to a drink before heading to his parents' place is a way to reconnect, and a great way to start the holiday.

Link Stanton never considered leaving the small farming town he grew up in, but he misses Andy more than he’ll ever admit. Secretly lusting after a friend is bad enough, but being in love with him is so much worse. One drink with friends seems harmless enough—after all, catching up on old times can’t be a bad thing—until beers turn to shots, and Link reveals how he really feels.

Everything could change, and if Andrew doesn’t remember Link’s heartfelt confession, they could carry on as friends. But if he does remember, this could be either the worst, or the best, Christmas of all.

Cute and Enjoyable Story!

BL Maxwell writes heartwarming stories, and I usually love them. So, after I listened to "Try to Forget" which featured Andy's friend Sam, I really wanted to know Andy and Link's story, and it did not disappoint! Their friends-to-lovers story is full of humor and super sweet. I loved following their path to HEA. The secondary characters are wonderful, Andy and Link had great chemistry, and the ending is very satisfying. I enjoyed the cross-over with Try to Forget but you don't have to read/listen to one to enjoy the other. Jack Watson's narration was also good. Really looking forward to listening to other books in both series!

Super Sweet Friends to Lovers Romance

Drew and Link were really two nice regular guys who stayed friends even when Drew moved away for his career in hair cutting and Link stayed in the small town to run his family's farm. Even though they stayed in touch when Drew comes back into town, they spend the months up to Christmas getting re acquainted and really learning about who each of them are as adults. This a very slow burn friends to lovers that develops naturally as the realize they have much stronger feelings for each other. If you enjoy sweet and fluffy holiday stories you will enjoy this one. The narrator did a great job with the narration!

a sweet friends to lovers story

Remember When is a sweet friends to lovers holiday story about Andy and Link, two friends who grow up in a small town. Andy is back in town visiting for Thanksgiving when he runs into Link and they end up having a few drinks together. When Link tells him something important, because of the drinking, Andy has a hard time remembering what his friend said. I loved watching Andy try to remember as these two friends discover more about their relationship. Andy and Link are super sweet together, you just can't help but want them to find a way to be together. Definitely recommend.
Narrator Jack Watson does a marvelous job. He was a joy to listen to and really brought out the sweet emotions in the characters.

loved it

I loved this book. Jack Watson's voice really brings this story to life and makes you love the characters even more. Andrew Lawson comes home for Thanksgiving and runs into his friends at the local bar. After a few drinks he forgets something important his friend Link told him. Link Stanton has always loved a Andy. After a few shots he tells Andy how he feels. Andy forgets due to the shots but Link wants him to remember so he gives Andy until Christmas to remember or he will tell him. Can Andy remember the secret that Link shared with him that night and find true happiness?

Great book

I thought that this was a really sweet book and audible. I thought that Jack Watson did a fantastic job with this book. I really enjoyed the connection and the chemistry between these two. Andy and Link were best friends growing up and now that they are around each other again, thanks to the holidays, truths come out. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it.

Super sweet friends-to-lovers!

Link and Andy are super sweet, and I loved Link’s “dare” to Andy to remember what happened between them, which Andy completely forgot after one too many shots!
While trying to remember, the two life-long friends become closer in a whole new way!
The story is a super-sweet slow burn, funny and well-written and absolutely enjoyable.
