Logan

Four years ago, my life changed forever.
Some see it as a vast improvement.
Me?
I’m not so sure. The guilt from my betrayal has haunted me from day one.
I knew my past would catch up to me. So when it comes crashing back into my life, I know the time has come to finally make it right.
My path to redemption won’t be easy. But I've always been up for a challenge.

Quinn

My life was never golden, but I had everything I needed. Then four years ago, everything changed.
I lost everything important to me, including myself.
I’m not certain I’m capable of forgiveness. So when the past comes back into my life, there will be no absolution for him in my heart.

Good story

This is quite the story. I enjoyed listening to it. It really took me in a journey through these kids lives. There are happy times and sad times. Each character grows as the story moves along. It was wonderful to see how these four started and where they ended up. Logan and Quinn just about killed me more than once. The whole being with another sexually while starting something with each other is horrible. Just for spite. I was frustrated over that entire situation. Other than that the Characters seemed believable and likable.
Overall this is a good listen. It’s angsty but has wonderful characters. I am guess a lot of Logan’s fam comes from previous stories. I did listen to this on audio. The narrators did a great job

Loved it!!

I was not prepared for Logan and Quinn’s story. Their story will cut you. It will leave you bleeding on the side of the road but in the end it will be everything.

This is truly not an easy love story. It is filled with years of heartache and tears. My heart broke for Quinn from page one. This girl just couldn’t catch a break. Always putting others above herself and taking what was given. Quinn is EVERYTHING. She is stronger than she thinks and I was doing the happy dance when she finally realized it for herself. Logan has to earn his spot in my heart. There was many times I wanted to throw my phone because he just aggravated me to no end but when he FINALLY woke up and smelled the roses I was swoon.

I absolutely LOVED the narrators. It amazes me how different the story feels when narrated.

Fantastic!

Nicole has written a super story of two broken kids that had a terrible childhood. Logan and Quinn had a rough road to travel.
Thurlow and Dash brought out all of the emotions of the characters with their narration of it. Great job all around!

Toughen Up, Buttercup!

Redemption was a beautiful story about two kids finding their way back to each other and realizing they were always worthy of love! I absolutely loved this book. Nicole Dykes really knows how to write heartbreaking and emotional stories that stick with you for a while. After reading, Clarity (which now I think should have been read after Redemption) I had to know about Logan and Quinn’s story. Logan was one of the lucky ones to escape the horrors of foster care and find a parent who wanted him. He felt a lot of guilt for leaving behind his friends, especially the girl he loved, Quinn. Quinn had it rough; she experienced abuse her whole life until, the day Logan came back into her life. He saved her and together they healed each other. Logan and Quinn were real and captivating characters, you want to root for. This gut wrenching, angsty, slow burn romance will take you on an emotional journey that you might need to take a few days from work to recovery from. As for the narrators, Dash and Thrulow were perfect for Logan and Quinn. They brought these characters to life and made the story enthralling!

Redemption Love!

Redemption hooked me with its prologue and kept me listening to the end. I love, loved Logan and Quinn. Angsty, heartbreaking and a compelling story. Intricately weaving a beautiful story about two kids with a difficult beginning finding their way back to each other in this maze called love. The writing is captivating and the world this author has built is exciting. Looking forward to listening to more audiobooks by this author.

Narrators Thurlow Holmes, Dash Coleman uprisen the story with their fabulous dual performance. Bringing the characters personality to life.

Quinn & Logan

Story: 4 ⭐️
Steam: 4/6 🔥
Audio: 4 🎧

This was another great story from Nicole! It’s nice to read a story where people who have not had the best start get to find their HEA. Quinn & Logan’s story was awesome! Their love story was built from a strong friendship and I loved that they allowed each other to see their dreams come to life.

Audiobook Performance: This audio was good! These narrators are not my favorite but they did a great job 🥰

It was one emotional ride.

I was confused at the beginning of the book with the mention of so many characters, so I went to Goodreads to check out other series by the same author, and discovered that everyone mentioned were indeed, family couples on a previous series.

they're really present, so I think it's important to mention, because i was still lost at the end with so many characters.

I really liked almost everyone though.
what i didn't liked much was the way that Logan had s³x with other woman, after he and Quinn had kissed and started to get back into each other's life.

I think Logan was always messing up in one way or another.

Quinn was a fighter in life and I was really cheering for her.

The narration was good... the female voice was just too old for Quinn's 18 years old, but their performance was great.

Redemption

Redemption is a story told from dual points of view from Logan and Quinn. They grew up in the foster system together, however Logan was sent away and then his father found him and took him in. Now years later they meet up on accident, and Logan can't stop thinking about Quinn. Quinn wants nothing to do with Logan thinking she left her and their two foster brothers when he was adopted, and now lives the good life.

Quinn is trying to wait until she turns 18 so she can take off. However Logan keeps popping back up in her life. She is in a bad relationship with one of the other foster brothers and he is into drugs and takes it out on Quinn. After something happens this foster brother just takes off leaving Quinn all on her own.

Logan is there, and gets his dad to bring Quinn in. Quinn and Logan have feelings for each other, but Quinn doesn't like taking handouts from his family. Can they get through all of their struggles and come out on top at the end? I really enjoyed this book and getting to know these characters.

The path to redemption won’t be easy...

Logan & Quinn owned my heart when I read them in 2019. They owned my heart again while listening to their story again.

Nicole Dykes knows how to hit you in the feels. The layers of characters are insane & absolutely brilliant. If you want a story of young love, heartbreak & redemption, this is a must.

Redemption

I’m kicking myself for accidentally spoiling this for me. I thought I was listening to this series in order but somehow got turned around along the way. Still, knowing how the story was going to end didn’t take away from the journey. Hearing about a broken group of foster kids who are just trying to figure out life is heartbreaking. Love the friendship you feel between everyone and love knowing how their lives turn out. Great series!
