Publisher's summary

What's scarier than fighting the Queen of the Paranormal Court? Negotiating peace.

Rogue has secured America with an agreement from the Queen and now the US opens its arms to her. Working with Baxter and the Spectral Plane, Rogue heads to Washington to make connections with the US Government, but is waylaid by a strange group called the Shadows.

Are they for her or against her?

Cultish and without regard for normal moral boundaries, new enemies blur the line between life and death and dabble in things they shouldn’t.

As the case grows bigger, Rogue realizes there’s more at stake than the specters. A renegade figurehead known as the Umbra is calling mortals to him for something larger than the US has tackled before. Will the Queen offer Rogue any assistance?

Now Jennie must learn to lead both mortals and specters to combat her enemies and bring them to justice.

Hooked on Jenny

This series has hooked me. Different than many of the paranormal books I’ve read, it took me by surprise. I love Jenny and the addition of each motley crew member that becomes her family. Her character is a beautiful mix of independent spunk and compassionate leader. The performance is engaging and well done. I’m eager to listen to her next adventure.

Awesome story and narrator

I love this narrator! she's done the 'Guildhunter' series too...and some 50 shades of gray type books...her voice always portrays the right emotions. Michael Anderle made a great choice for his awesome book. it is my wish to own all his books that star strong female characters as the heroines. he writes so fast though its hard to keep up!

Worth it! Fun

I enjoyed The story very much. The narrator is wonderful and brought color and life to the black and white of the story. If you’re just starting out in the Paranormal Court Book 2 stands alone but makes a lot more sense once you’ve taken the time to enjoy the first. The author, Anderle, has come a long way from the frenetic and VERY addicting Kurtherian Gambit series that was his first. I highly recommend his work. TQB Ad Aeternitatem

Jenny in the USA

Jenny is on American soil and the Unites States government are not finding her a team player. She must deal with the underhanded methods of Queen Victoria. If that is not enough the there is a mole in the American specters branch of SIA. The illegal organization SIS is trying to become the premiere organization in the United States on specters. There are many more gadgets than in the first book. Many of Jenny’s tricks i.e. disappearing and walking through walls, are not working because many of the gadgets counter those things. Her one on one combat fighting is still first rate. This story takes specter on specter and specter on human fighting to a new level. If you enjoyed the first book then you must read this one.
