Fun sports romance
This is the first book I've read/listened to in this series and I enjoyed it. I tend to like the bad boy redemption kind of story so this worked out well for me. Reformed Alex was so sweet and I really liked Coach/Charlotte's strength. I liked their banter too and it was fun to see the set up for the rest of the characters in this series. There was a generally light use of sports terms so the sport itself was in the background (Coach is a sports agent and of course, Alex is a hockey player).
Joe and Maxine are fantastic narrators and elevated the story. I've listened to their narrations before and as always, they did a great ob bringing the story to life.

I love a great story
Hockey romance, I can’t turn them down. I have no clue why because I live in South Mississippi and we lost our hockey team. So, after this first book in the series, I am really looking forward to the next. A really sweet story!

Loved the character arc!
I love a good playboy/bad boy finding healing from trauma story- especially when it’s not the girl that “heals” them but is right by their side during the journey. I honestly don’t know why this series isn’t listened to more!

Really enjoyed
First of all, I love Maxine Mitchell narration. Hands down (even though Joe Arden is great) Maxine could have done the whole book and I would have loved it.
I really enjoyed the story thought the chemistry and flow was great. Glad this book was recommended to me as I will be continuing the series

My 1st Jillian Quinn story, and this woman had me really loving hockey romance and grinning like a fool by the very end! Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell once again came together to be the perfect Coach and Parker, bringing so much to each character that you couldn't help but root for them, both individually and as a couple. I loved the way their relationship developed, and while I don't usually love a 3rd act breakup, I appreciated the way that Jillian Quinn wrote it so that I really was smiling like a fool by the very end!
