Story
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them. With fewer dragons willing to bond than cadets, most would kill Violet to better their own chances of success.

In Going Infinite Lewis sets out to answer this question, taking listeners into the mind of Bankman-Fried.

A Surprise
Matthew Reilly continues to show what an amazing storyteller he is. I must admit that I almost didn't continue reading this book as he has two sex scenes early on in the story that really took me by surprise (and a third towards the end) not expecting that at all in Reilly's books. My teenage grandson and I have always shared these books. However, trusting in the positive reviews I continued to read and very glad I did. A very clever story, engaging to the end.
