Publisher's summary

Sure, lesbians love to bring a U-Haul on the second date. But what happens when the U-Haul crashes?

For Amelia Stone, it's a literal question as much as a figurative one. When plans to move in with her girlfriend go sideways, she's left with more questions about their future than answers. It doesn't help that she's spending far more time with the paramedic who came to her rescue than the woman she's supposed to be in love with.

When Finn Douglas responds to a routine traffic accident, the last thing she's looking for is love. But something about Amelia pulls her in. The more time they spend together, the more it feels like Amelia might be the one. If only Amelia didn't have her life all planned out with a woman who isn't Finn.

Contains mature themes.

It is not a sequel it is parallel

I listened to a convenient arrangement first, and that was a great idea, well it come out first so…
I loved both books, and it was nice to meet some of the characters from the previous book in this one, but the huge difference was in the narration. You will all agree with me I am sure that Abby Craden is sooooooo good. And that is why I am glad I listened to this one after the first one. Had I done the opposite I probably would have hated it.
So if you want to enjoy these two books do yourself a favor and listen to Convenient Arrangement first. You will thank me later.

Accidentally in love, literally

Amelia Stone is a mess of a person, making all the wrong choices. She moves in too fast with her new girlfriend which causes her a lot of heartache, and also a car accident where she meets Finn Douglas, a kind paramedic who reaches out to make sure Amelia is fine after her accident. What starts as a friendship ends up becoming a friends-with-benefit situation and lots of feelings get mixed in the way.

What's most enjoyable about this book is that the meddlesome people around them aren't that meddlesome and Amelia has to realize mostly on her owns she's making all the wrong choices. Finn definitely needs more help, but she's also the one that has more sense than jumping to live with someone only after knowing them for a few months.

The sex scenes are great and the main characters have a lot of chemistry. The romance might have needed a bit more time to work, mostly because Amelia starts the book very much moving in with another woman. Then again, maybe Amelia is just like that.

the love between two hopeless romantics

I love the story and all the highs and lows that came with it. Abby craden was the best narrator. she brought the book alive. One of my favorite books.

Jaime and Aurora- dynamic duo for sapphic romance!

This book is written by two authors, which gives us two unique perspectives on romance and love-making. To hear each character’s thoughts on how the relationship is alike and not alike others they have experienced previously, is revealing and a truth in romance in general. Chemistry AND compatibility with life goals is not the result of every coupling. This couple’s proclivities may or may not perfectly match your own, but it is quite spicy and beautiful to read a story where a couple’s experience of each other opens new doors for them, as individuals and as a couple. The narration was good. I gave it four instead of five stars because two characters had the exact same voice. Thankfully they weren’t speaking in the same space, so to speak, but I still wished for a little distinction based on local accents. Overall, it’s a pleasant listening experience! This story speaks to asking for what you want in life and in love-making. Women in general are taught to accept less; to put other’s needs above their own. These author’s speak for women who want and deserve more!

Fun, frustration and tons of “chemistry” 😉😉😉

I’like to thank our authors for teaming up to create a story that at times can be equally ridiculously funny, hair pullingly frustrating and totally hot,
Sometimes separately and sometimes all together.
This is one of those stories where, at some point, you scream: “ wake up!!!!! 😊.
Of course Abby Craden delivers her usual stellar job of keeping you hooked in to the very end.
I won’t summarize or give anything away. Just sit back and enjoy the ride and it’s characters to the eventual HEA.

Best accident, the life change you want.

Amelia was doing a calculated move for what she thought was all the right reasons. The U-Haul being hit and Finn being the paramedic who comes to her rescue. The connection they have and the friendship they start make the "girlfriend" Veronica clearly the wrong move. The relationship Finn and Amelia begin to build is complicated by the sexual attraction. The world's best Nana plays cupid and the world changes for everyone. Abby Craden makes the characters come to life in this accidental romance. A spectacular listen of a glorious romance.
