great series. well read.
My kids are listening to it again. Does that say enough? I like books about siblings getting along. My kids have no trouble learning how to fight. This one is great. plus it encourages being happy with what you have since the dad is dead and the mother struggles to make ends meet.

my daughter has listened to this on audible every night for three years. three years! and continues with no plan on mixing it up. she's 8 now and still loves it so much.

Cute stories of family life of yesteryear
We enjoyed the simple stories about family life in simpler days. The narration was of poor quality. The voice for Mama was emotionless, monotone and the other adults weren't much better. The narration disrupted and distracted from the sweet stories.

Old-fashioned Goodness
All of the good stuff. None of the bad stuff. So much fun. I feel so fortumate to have been put into touch with wonderful books like these. My dd loves them all.

I like it.
I didn’t like how they only did the part where they left like they didn’t do any after that I don’t like that part, but other than that it was fantastic!
