Joel Embiid started playing basketball in his home country of Cameroon at age 15. He soon moved to the U.S. to play basketball and went on to become a star high school player.
Embiid made his NBA debut in 2016 and was named to the All-Star Game in 2018. That same year, he became one of just seven players with 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 200 blocks in his first 100 games.
