On the battlefields of the future, death is not the end for a soldier. The Revenant Program collects badly wounded soldiers broken by war and converts them into unthinking, unfeeling cyborg weapons. Their bodies are immune to pain, their minds impervious to fear and doubt. All controlled by a neural implant called the Imperative. They are the ideal force for any mission too deadly or too difficult for normal men. A force that answers to the darkest corners of the military.

Part of him was hoping that he was just insane and had been hallucinating when he first started seeing the window. Then again, if the quest was just his imagination, he was going to be massively in debt with a rental full of useless junk. well written, well read
like most great story's, the writer did a good job getting you invested in the character. then the reader sold it. he mentions future volumes so I'm definitely intrigued and they will be on my watch list. I like the idea of foreshadowing future stories because there is nothing worse then falling in love with a character, then when the books over that's it. I enjoy stories of alternate realities and the writer did not let me down. i really liked how hes setting his world up for unlimited storie lines. now for the hard part. waiting for the next books.
