Then one day she delivers flowers to her aunt's newest client, Catherine, a forty-year-old bridal shop owner, and Erica finds herself drawn to her. While the attraction initially catches her off guard - she's never desired a woman before-she soon realizes that her crush is the real deal.

But between their age difference, the need to remain professional, and both of their past experiences with love, both women are hesitant to make a move. this was a really sweet age gap relationship story. these types of stories I like

quaint little romance

Two women find themselves attracted to each other. One has not had a sapphic experience and the other was sufficiently burned from her last breakup to not pursue another. These two meet and work to overcome their own trepidations. How does it all turn out? A nice well rounded novella that was enjoyably narrated.

Nice but too short

Great little story, but too short for my taste ,,,I love the details in longer stories …. But overall, really nice few hours of listening.

Age Gap Sapphic Fun!

3.5⭐️ Nice quick story! Great concept and characters. I felt like there was so much to unpack with Erica, her first experience feeling any attraction to a woman, trying to process without using her support because she is unsure of it herself. There is so much hesitancy that is normal but felt more bypassed since time was not on their side in such a short novella. I liked the communication that did occur and the epilogue was sweet and summed up nicely (although again with the amount of time that has actually occurred it feels like more time should have passed to get where they were). Overall the narrator is amazing. The story is sweet and quick. Not too much build up or growth.

It is a short book, usually I listen to 6 and mor hours of audios but I had a coupon so I used it for this book and it was a great investment :)

Too short!

When they finally come together it would have been more appropriate for Katherine to let Érica take the lead… it felt too fast and forward for someone who was new and nervous.. the epilogue was also a bit of a jump..

Sweet age gap story

Lovely, sweet story with low angst. Loved both MCs & supporting characters. Good & honest communication between MCs made it a breath of fresh air to listen to this book. Lori Prince was the perfect narrator bringing the characters to life. Def will look for more books by this author.

Unrealistic

I did not enjoy this book. The characters had so little experience together, no exploration of who they were as people, other than a rather conceited acknowledgement of their “class” differences. There is a lack of depth in the plot as well as character development, and an unreality to this story. Pass….
