Publisher's summary
Climate change, war and pollution has finally reached the tipping point and Earth will soon be incapable of supporting life. As temperatures across the globe rise to dangerous levels, the planet’s atmosphere begins slowly rotting away. Access to food and clean water has become scarce and mankind is forced to turn to the stars in search of a solution.
In a neighboring galaxy, an alien planet may offer humanity a second chance. In a desperate bid to save humanity, thousands of colonists are hurled into the cosmos hoping to forge a new life on this strange and distant world.
As Captain Brian “Finn” Finnegan takes his first few steps on an alien world, he finds himself facing obstacles that no amount of training could have prepared him for. He must pit every ounce of his knowledge and experience into scratching out an existence on this strange new world.
With deadly predators, dangerous ecosystems, and even more sinister threats lurking around every corner. It’s up to Finn to ensure the survival of the last remnants of the human race. However, when a new threat emerges, he must gather whatever allies he can find, no matter who or what they are.
With nowhere left to run, the only option is to fight.
Relatable characters, action, adventure, and a touch of mystery all come together to bring an exciting and diverse story that will leave you wanting more.

Story
The Year is 2166: To the people of Earth, the universe seemed to be a very lonely place. Astronomers had discovered tens of thousands of planets and many had indications of organic life. SETI had been searching for signals for over 200 years. There had been a few tantalizing bits of radio or radar energy received but nothing was ever proven to be of intelligent origin. But there was an alien civilization out there, in fact, many of them linked together in a Web of Worlds. They were watching us quietly, carefully and patiently. It had long been the prime directive of the Web that no ...

Story
Centuries after being driven from Earth as part of a massive diaspora triggered by an alien invasion, can the Valers face their worst—and unimaginable—nightmare? Can they withstand the might of the Komran Empire as it sweeps across the galaxy in a campaign to conquer all in its path? When the conflict reaches a crisis point, will they recognize that what they see as their greatest strength is their greatest weakness before it’s too late? Sometimes, situations are so ugly that only an ugly solution will suffice.

Story
The planet Korwar was a glittering jewel of a world, inhabited by the galaxy's wealthiest, visited by the upper classes of other worlds in search of diversion. The jewel had a flaw: the Dipple, its name coming from a contraction of "displaced person", where the misfits, the hopeless, the penniless eke out a wretched existence on the dole. Two young men hoped to escape from the Dipple.
