After Aileas rejects him, Brady Shape leaves Wyoming and wanders to Texas. He gets a job at Double G Ranch and becomes their temporary foreman. However, he never feels comfortable in the job, although he’s determined to catch the cattle rustlers before he leaves. He can’t seem to forget Aileas either.

When he meets Nora Joseph, she needs rescuing from a desperate situation. He’s determined to see her situated before he leaves Sagebrush, but somehow, she talks him into taking her with him. The only place he can think to take her is back to Aileas in Wyoming. However, getting there will take battling dust storms, the storms of their pasts, and storms that loom in the future.

I really enjoyed this

Believable characters working through their problems and trying to live their lives with God’s help. I listened to this in less than 24 hours it was so interesting. Very good.

I find Janice Cole's writing very spiritually encouraging, but in an indirect way. It isn't preachy, it seems a natural part of the story. It is so nice to listen to. She has become one of my favorites

Weathering Love

We finally hear more about Brady. He still has feelings about his stepsister Aileas but knows he must move on. He is working on a ranch in Texas, but it doesn't feel like home. He will make his way back to Aileas to move forward in his life. She is happily married to Ian and they now have a son, his nephew. While he is preparing to leave he meets Nora. She is in a bit of trouble and he comes to her rescue. They decide to travel together and he will leave her with Aileas when he goes. Their travels are long and even a dust storm, won't stop them or life ahead.

Christian Historical Romance

I felt the narrator did a lot better on this book than the first in the series! I really enjoyed the voices of the Sheriff and Ranch owner. The Mexican cook could use more work though.
This was a beautiful story. God is not a God of confusion, and when we're confused, it's from our own sinful flesh. Prayer and faithfulness help clear the muddled mess and allows us to see God and his plan more clearly. I wish the store owner Bear finds his perfect match!

Enjoyable Romance

In this third book of the In from the Storm Series, we get to read Brady's story. He had left broken-hearted when his stepsister, Aileas, explained that she could only love him as a brother. She was actually already in love with Ian. Since Brady felt certain he loved Aileas as more than a sister, he knew he had to leave Wyoming and put distance between them. In this book, we meet all the main characters from the previous two novels in this series and we find Brady on a Ranch in Texas. He rescues Hope, who is in a heap of trouble. No one in town wants to help her or give her a job. Although the saloon owner would be only too happy to have her work for him in the rooms above the saloon, Hope will not willingly subject herself to that kind of life. Brady is ready to leave town, but how can he leave Hope in the circumstances she's in? How will she survive if he abandons her? But will Hope's reputation survive traveling alone with him?

It was nice seeing a bit more of how the other characters' lives from the previous books continued in this novel, as well as how Brady finds his happy-ever-after. I listened to this on Audible. It gave me several hours of wholesome entertainment in an enjoyable love story. It's a lovely conclusion to the series.

Fantastic

Loved this continuation of the family saga! The love and trust that they share is wonderful. Hoping that there is a continuation, after all there is another brother.

historical Christian romance

I enjoyed listening to this story and the narrator did a good job overall. My interest was kept throughout and I enjoyed the characters. There was a lot going on in this story and knowing this is the last in the series I took my time with this story. Definitely need to go through the first 2 stories to really get the characters and all there backgrounds.
