Unterhalb des oberflächlichen Sinnes soll sie seiner Vorstellung nach eine unterschwellige, tiefere oder suggestive Bedeutungsschicht aufweisen, die sich jedoch einer eindeutigen begrifflichen Festlegung oder Deutung entzieht.
9. Wij, der Fürst der Dämonen - von Nikolai Wassiljewitsch Gogol
Erzählt wird die Geschichte des Philosophiestudenten Choma Brut aus Kiew, der gemeinsam mit zwei Kommilitonen aus den Fakultäten Theologie und Rhetorik auf einer Reise in einer abgelegenen Unterkunft übernachtet und dabei von der unheimlichen Wirtin bedrängt wird.
