Betty Viamontes and Susana Jiménez-Mueller are Cuban-American writers, born in Havana and Santa Clara, Cuba, respectively. Betty is the author of the award-winning novel Waiting on Zapote Street and has published eight titles dedicated to Cuban stories, including several Amazon bestsellers. Susana is the author of Now I Swim, an account of how to survive and cure the fear of water and is a collaborator of Perico – The Fabulous Burro, a book that brings to the pages the story of a donkey from Santa Clara. She is the author, producer, and host of The Green Plantain – The Cuban Stories Project podcast. Both write with passion and deliver these stories with love for Cuba.
