AN INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES, USA TODAY, AND AMAZON BESTSELLER

America’s most effective conservative intellectual proves once and for all that Marxist radicals have taken over our nation's institutions.

In the 1960s, Mao launched China’s Cultural Revolution. Cities grew overcrowded. Technocrats demanded progress from above. Anyone opposed was sent to be “re-educated.” China’s revolution was bloody, fast, and a failure, but what if America started a revolution at the same time, based on the same bad ideas, and it’s just been slower, calmer, and more effective?

In his powerful new book, Christopher F. Rufo uncovers the hidden history of left-wing intellectuals and activists who systematically took control of America’s institutions to undermine them from within. America’s Cultural Revolution finally answers so many of the questions normal Americans have, such as:

• Why is nearly every major corporation bending the knee to a far-left agenda?

• How did DEI suddenly become the department no institution can continue without?

• Why is race the main thing America’s rich, white elite wants to talk about?

• When did the left adopt all this doublespeak, saying progress is a lack of progress, equality is not equality, speech is violence, and violence is speech?

• Has the goal of the left, for a century, actually been the destruction of every Western institution?

Readers may not know the names of Herbert Marcuse, Angela Davis, Paulo Freire, and Derrick Bell, but they will recognize the ideas they spread. How their radical, destructive ideology slowly worked its way from prisons to academia to classrooms to your human resources department will come as a shock.

Failing to act soon, Rufo warns, could allow the radical left to achieve their ultimate objective: replacing constitutional equality with a race-based redistribution system overseen by bureaucratic ‘diversity and inclusion’ officials. Most Americans don’t want this, but most Americans are no longer in control of our institutions. If the mainstream media’s depiction of a failing dystopia in need of a fresh start never sounded right to you, this expose and call to arms is the book you’ve been looking for.

It all makes sense now

After listening to the book on audio, I now understand how such overt racism has been infused into American culture.

Critical race theory, and other things

This book is the Bible for infiltration of our educational institutions over 30 years from kindergarten to college by people who want to tear up the United States Constitution. The author uses facts and not “his truth“.

Eye opening to the blind

I like many others have wondered what happened to us with this diversity, equity and inclusion scenario. Where did this come from? Why do I feel like I have been blind and it was just thrust on us in just the last few years coming out of nowhere. Well, Mr. Rufo clears all of that up for the reader. I highly recommend this book so that we can learn from history. This Marxist cancer must be overcome but first we must understand its origins!

Must read for all...

This work is a postmortem of how American culture has been subverted and manipulated by people that do not except reality as an objective absolute. This work exposes postmodernist Neo-Marxist pedagogy for what it really is. A culture of anti-mind, and ant-human anti-progress. Please heed it warning.

Brilliant Book

Every American should read this book. Conservstive author Rufo builds the decade by decade Marxist thinking that brought our country to the sad state it is in today. Beginning with the German born Marxist, Herbert Marcuse, he takes us up to present-day America where the once but not for a long time oppressed has become the oppressor. He ties together Marxist philosophy with that of the Black ghetto violent underclass, making a construct designed to indoctrinate a new America. Everything that American society was founded on has to be deconstructed. Resentment is the fuel that stokes the furnace.

These philosophies, which began in the classroom 60 years ago, now permeate every aspect of American society from the universities to the public school system, to corporate boardrooms to every branch and office of government . DEI has leveled the outcome as opposed to the playing field. Merit is a racist construct of the evil white man. The Constitution should be dismantled.People of color who are less accomplished are giving preferential treatment over those Whites who are more qualified. The only thing that matters is the color of your skin. It is reverse racism ro the max. We are living in Orwellian times. He offers a way through voting for different leaders to restore American culture to that which made it exceptional, a merit based society with opportunity through education that had become color blind until Wokeness displaced that.
It will take time.

A staple of our time

This book will surely become authoritative in the future. Though Chris Rufo can be off putting, he does great academic work here

must read if you want to fight the left

there is a tendency on the right to intuitively know what is wrong, and attempt to go to battle without being properly informed of the historical happenings in heroes that got us here. I'm guilty of it, and I suspect that you are as well. truly enjoyed this substantive and in-depth look into the grave of leftism.

The ending definitely leaves me hopeful. however, we can simply look at China and see that their cultural revolution did not necessarily fail, rather it birthed into a communist capitalist hybrid. The critical theories modeled the class revolution that occurred there and I fear that the West will simply be satiated by a parasitic, vampireish drawdown of capitalist success.

Stunning

This book is more than history. It is the examination of nihilism, and its bitter consequences. While we are still deep in the battle, I believe there's hope our society can break through the underbrush of lies and fight with deeper practical wisdom.
