Funny and well narrated.

This book was amazing. I laughed so hard. The actors were spectacular. I can't wait til book 2.

I wish the whole series was available

I love the story. I love the cast, and I love this author. I just wish the entire series was available on audible.

a great story that was lots of fun. the narrators were amazing and made the story come to life

exceptional cast.

so its as you expect. teen drama, a mc that cant handle girls. however the story is a parody. doesnt take itself seriously. dont go into this expecting serious. now while i did cringe at certain parts, the voice acting is incredible. i cannot stress enough how great the voice acting is. the only thing i was worried about is if the rest of the series would have the same actors. seen it too many times when a series starts off with good voice actors and then switches to a text to speech program. the author claims he wants to continue using these actors and thats all i need to commit to listening to this entire series. now i just have to wait for them to come out......

Great concept, but some characters....

This story is great, but every character is over-the-top tropey, so if that isn't your cup of tea, you mightnot enjoy it. Hopefully Volume 2-12 can get the Audio treatment soon!

Most awesome kind of book to here with THREE PERFORMERS!

This is one of my new favorite novels, especially because BV has two female readers and one male. It works so great! The story is different, just read the synopsis and it’s correct. Very different type of book, but I liked it. I’m hoping they have more books like this with 3 narrators, 2 female and 1 male. Please check this out, his other series Man Made god and Reincarnated Warrior are my two favorite. Plus have great narration!

Excellent Narration

As someone who has read all the books in this series the author's choice for narrator's has brought new life to this story.

Loved it

I did read this series up to book 7 or 8 I believe before finding out the first book had been turned into an audio book. I really liked the voice acting and I do hope that the rest of the series gets an audio book addition.

The story is about Kevin saving an injured fox with two tails. Soon, Kevin is swept in an anime-style story. The humor is straight out of anime so if you've a fan of anime, like I am, I'm sure you'll like this.

Just turn your brain off, you'll thank me.

Just as the Author himself will admit to at the end of the book, this story draws inspiration from and uses many of the same tropes as Romantic Comedy animes - Mainly those of the harem variety.

I'm a sucker for those types of animes myself, and if you are too you're in the right place! Just know that this particular book, being the first in a series, really only stars one main girl, but she's hot and acts cute. So like...it starts strong.

The narrators are great, absolutely no complaints there. The story itself revolving around the "relationship" between the human MC and the Kitsune (foxgirl) FMC is largely a comedic take on the later character being utterly infatuated with the former. However, the human really doesn't want any part of it because he already has a crush on someone else (and he gets severe anxiety when talking to women) but ends up going along with her antics anyway. Throw in a few fourth wall breaks from the FMC and hilarity ensues to varying degrees.

From here it's really gonna depend on how much anime you can stomach in your story when you're not actually watching one or reading a manga. I can handle a lot I think, but in this story it felt like those usual corny/funny anime tropes got inadvertently used to cover what might otherwise be some inconsistency in the story. Some of those inconsistencies got cleaned up later, but others just kinda got forgotten about. It doesn't really detract from the story too much as it's not really meant to be super serious anyway (which is fine), but if you give it a listen (which you should if you've gotten this far) you'll know what I mean.

TL;DR It's not serious. It's not always gonna land its jokes with you, but it is funny. It's the beginning of a Romantic Comedy Anime, just as an Audiobook; turn your brain off and you'll enjoy it. I did, and I'll be getting the next book!
